No GPS nor internet connection is needed. Just point your camera and tap the screen to set the corner points. Taken measurements are precise within short distance only (up to ~20m). But do not worry. Use Move button (button with “man walking”) to set new point of measurement. Then just move there and continue measurement. You can change the place of the measurement indefinite number of times. Presented films shows how accurate measurement are, even for large objects like Cathedral in Lodz, Poland. These are red buttons on the main screen.====> MAP METHODWith this method you can mark on the map the area, the “distance path”, or the “elevation path”. Either tapping on the screen or setting precisely point with “pin” button (in the center of the screen). With the “elevation path” you can also check the depths of seas and oceans! Choose between Google Map and OSMDroid map. For Google Maps you can change layers too. These are green buttons on the main screen.====> GPS METHODWith this method you can measure are and distance just using your GPS receiver. No internet connection is needed. Simply wait until you have good satellite coverage (status icons are green), move to the spot and press the button with “pin”. The measured area / distance is plotted on the screen along with your measurements. These are blue buttons on the main screen.Notices:1. Make sure you are leveled with the measured area. Otherwise, the results will be inaccurate.2. For AR mode the accuracy lowers with the distance. The measurement taken for the points distant more than 50-100 meters are not reliable.
